The kit only sprays at wide open throttle (full boost). The temperature data was recorded after a hard run on 3rd gear all the way to redline (8,600rpm's) and was in the process of slowing down due to traffic. The intake temperature when i "stepped on it" was 139 degrees with an outside temperature of 71 degrees. When i let off the gas pedal the intake temperature was 163 degrees yet it continue to decrease while slowing down. That's why you only see a 6% throttle position, etc...

Anyways, i deleted the datalogged after i took this picture the other day. I'll be more than happy to do a few more runs this weekend or as soon as i get my FPR diaphram (already ordered) and will take the pictures you requested.

    Questions:

Your datalog shows you to be cruising at 6% throttle at a bit over 30 mph... what was the ambient temperature OUTSIDE when you made this observation ??? Also, why are you injecting alcohol when you are cruising (vaccuum operation) ??? Wouldn't this consume a very large amount of fluid in a relatively short period of time ??? What intake temps do you reach under Wide Open Throttle... say at or near 8000 rpm ??? Can you take a "screen shot" of your datalog screen then please ???

Thank you in advance for the additional info.

i agree. if it was a mid-80's day, and you're running around spraying alcohol during normal crusing, in a non-heatsoaked motor (as shown by the coolant temp only being 179 degrees), dropping down to mid-40's isn't that great of an improvement.

    That would be great.
Also, I would love to see a copy of the datalog recording (and include the outside temperature when the log was created) if you wouldn't mind sending it to me.
My normal E-mail addy listed in my profile is unavailable... please send it to my office addy.

    Thanks
    Jim
